Application to multiple colleges?

Hi. I'm a current senior interested in applying to Berkeley this fall. I have many years of experience in computer science and I intend on making that my major. My dilemma is this:

Berkeley offers two CS degrees, one in L&S and the other in CoE. I have decent stats but I'm aware that applying to EECS is very competitive. I do have some interest in Ear btw

1) Can I apply to both colleges and fall back on L&S if I don't get EECS?
2) if not, can I transfer from l&s to EECS once at Berkeley?

Thanks

no, you can only apply to either.

yes, you can transfer to EECS once you’re in L&S and you can do vice versa as well. it’s difficult to transfer into EECS from L&S (need a high gpa average in major classes), but it’s relatively easy to transfer from EECS to L&S.

So for a 3.7 (4.3)/34 act, would it be wiser to apply l&s or EECS

Bump …
