I started looking at the common application and im finding that a lot of things wont fit in the spaces and i think i would rather just hand write it. Have any of u hand written it in the past? Are there any advantages/disadvantages to handwriting versus doing it online? Thanks.

While there is no problem submitting a written or typed application, some colleges waive application fees if you submit online. It may cost you more money if you choose to submit your application by snail mail.

Some colleges have also said it's easier to process online applications as they're sent directly to your file and it's very easy to make corrections on those. Dealing with paperwork is more tedious but it has no real disadvantages, except that it costs more labor, which you pay for, anyway.
