<p>Hi! So, my application status when I check broncodirect is still “Impacted Plan CSU Eligible” I applied for mechanical engineering and I’m wondering if any other people who applied for that major already were accepted? Also, do I stand a chance?

i am biology, however and i am worried because i see that some have already got accepted for biology. my staus is still impacted plan, csu ellgible. the wait is killing me too. i check my bronco direct every hour! i called several times and they told me it should just be a couple more weeks, but they didnt ask me for my name or anything. i am an overthinker and iam starting to think my application is somehow lost. is this possible. ugh this wait is making driving me insane!</p>

I didnt get accepted to my first choice major of engineering but instead my alternative major choice which is chemistry; although, I might wanna change my major to chemical engineering, idk yet :P, but you ACT and SAT was good, and your GPA was higher than mine. But i hope you had an alternative major just in case though since the engineering is so impacted at CPP. And lovedance, i read somewhere (cant remember lol) that it can take until the 30th of April for them to reach a decision. All i can say to you is to keep your fingers crossed, also i dont think biology is impacted, so thats good news, anyways good luck to you both and dont let the anxiety get to you lol. Oh P.S. let me know what happens.</p>
<p>Druce ty! I called yesterday and the lady said it’s pretty much like I am waitlisted and it’s not guaranteed that I will find out before the 100 despot deadline but on the brighter side she didn’t look up my info which is pretty decent. I will let u guys know when I fund out!</p>
<p>The deadline is May first, so lovedance you have quite a bit of time, so I wouldn’t panic. BTW, I dont know if you done this or not, but register for the ELM placement test immediately! Do it before april 22nd, idk if you have tooken it or not, but if you havent register now because if you are accepted (gods willing lol) you might not find out in time enought to register for that test i.e. being notified of your admission decision on april 25th or something, to which it will be to late to register for that. Failure to take that test will result in your admisson to revoked. If you already took it then nevermind this message lol, but if you havent, then you might wanna hop on that pronto lol.</p>
<p>If you are admitted after the due date for the SIR because of being wait listed, Cal Poly Pomona will extend the SIR due date for you. Me and about 400 other students were late mid-August admits last year and we had until August 23rd to send in the deposit.</p>

I was waitlisted for Architecture at CPP and now I was accepted just today.</p>
<p>I already paid my 400 dollar housing deposit at CSU Long Beach but CPP is my TOP choice. I will NOT get the 400 dollars back though :[</p>
<p>Will my ECD be waived? It was fully waived at CSU Long Beach.
Also, is there an initial deposit for housing? If so, can that be waived? I cannot afford to pay ANOTHER expensive housing deposit.</p>

I’m a transfer student with a 2.92 GPA. I spend way too much time on projects lol! But that will change because I’m going to grad school so I need to get my GPA up, requiring a focus adjustment :)</p>
