Applied early but transcripts aren't ready yet

I've applied to the schools I'm interested in. Got applications in two weeks ago, but guidance says transcripts won't be ready until October. My top choice school has rolling admissions but if transcripts aren't ready, my application won't be read, right?

I'm worried that when transcripts are ready, guidance will send out the ED or EA apps of other students first, before starting on rolling apps. So did it really benefit me to send out my apps early?

I have the same question.

I don’t understand what your question hopes to accomplish. It seems to me that you should share your concerns with your GC office. It’s not as if there’s someone here on CC with a font of knowledge about your High school’s policies.

If it’s nothing you can change/influence, then why worry about it?

Best of luck to you

Doesn’t your school have a transcript from the end of your junior year? They should be able to provide you with that. If they are saying no, I would have your parents apply some gentle pressure, and then move up the chain of command. Unless the guidance office has a stated policy of requiring 4 weeks to obtain a transcript, it seems very counterproductive to the students to deny it.

How do they expect rolling admissions applicants to complete apps? Yikes. Sounds like the registrar/GC policies need to be reformed…quickly.

You might want to email the rolling app adcoms and explain the situation.

Your application will not be reviewed without your transcript and the other material submitted by the high school. Those tihngs are just too important.
I agree that it’s problematic for students applying rolling and think you should definitely have your parents make contact.
