<p>D2 is a HS sophomore. We are going to start the college search process and she understands what subjects interest her but not what would like to do with them. A couple areas which intrigue her are Genetic Counseling which requires an MS degree and perhaps Forensic Science which depending on what she wanted to do might or might not require advanced degrees. Would studying for a degree in forensic science, forensic biology or another applied science give her the required backround needed to apply to schools to study Genetic Counseling? </p>
<p>Get her registered in an internship program; emphasizing the underlying biological relationships relevant to the aforementioned fields of interest — make sure she can work closely with youth of whom are within close proximity to her age bracket [i.e. college sophomores] … hopefully she’ll be able to develop the basic intuitive proficiency required for excelling and contributing to the encompassing sphere of choices available [to her] </p>
