so im the vanderbilt’s pre-college program for four years AND i got a recommendation letter from a vandy professor.
my act is 30 =(
and my gpa is 3.75
i took the most rigorous course
and i have quite a bit of EC’s that i have dedicated to. how OK are my chances ?

The ACT is near the 25th percentile and the GPA is iffy… but the recommendation from the professor mostly balances it out. Depending on the EC’s (which I have a concern that they may not be killer if you didn’t post them), you’re either a low reach or medium reach. Unless the EC’s are way above average, I’m saying a medium reach.

You’ve got a good quantity, that’s for sure. The Best Robotics recognition sounds great, especially if you’re applying engineering. That probably bumps it to a low reach, still tough but doable.

You sound like you’re from middle TN, which is the most overrepresented area in Vandy admissions. It’s going to be tough; there are a lot of crazy strong applicants competing for few spots. Good luck. Your ECs should help you considerably.
