The new policy of Primary/Alternate college choice is merely an option. You should only apply to an alternate college if you would be happy with your second choice. If you apply ED to a primary and an alternate college, the Early Decision binding commitment applies to both choices. So, if you are accepted to your alternate college, you are still bound by the early decision agreement.</p>
