ED application

just wanted to know, whether i can apply ED to 2 or more colleges...

No. Unless you have applied ED1 to school A and were either denied or deferred, then you may apply ED2 to school B.

yes... as long it is not single choice

no, cant i apply to say Harvard and Cornell ED in Oct this yr at the same time?

From the Harvard website (a good place to start your research):

May students apply to other early programs if they apply Early Action to Harvard?

Generally, no. Students applying to Harvard under the Early Action program are not ordinarily permitted to apply early elsewhere in the fall, either under Early Action or Early Decision programs. Harvard will rescind its offer of admission to a student who does so.

well that goes for Harvard; what abt Cornell, or Princeton, or MIT?

Check their websites (and any other schools you may be interested). They all spell it out quite clearly.

can i apply to one college Early Decision and one Early Action - I mean if I get accepted to the ED college I will go there but if I get deferred I will go the EA one instead.

I mean Early Action is never binding right?

Early decision is binding. Early action is not. Some schools clearly spell out you cannot apply early anywhere else. Those include most ED schools and SCEA schools.

Isn't it too late for EA / ED now? Unless its ED2...Which schools have EA now? lol

There are still some EDIIs, but I think most EA deadlines I can think of have already passed.
