I live in the United States, and will probably apply and receive citizenship sometime in the next year. However, with my plans of studying abroad senior year in France, Duke University informed me I would be viewed as an international applicant if I graduate from a French high school.

My question is: Does applying as an international student change my chances or involve harder stepts to be accepted into an American college?

I'm looking towards graduating under the IB Diploma Programme.

Thanks for your help.
