So please tell me the flaw in my logic here:
I'm going to apply ED to my number 1 school; several of the other schools I'll be applying to have nonrestrictive EA options. So I'm thinking I could apply ED to my number 1 school and EA to all of the others that offer it. Am I the only one who's thought of this or is there something I'm missing here?

Ethics aside.

(I think this is the right subforum for this?)

Try College Admissions forums, you’ll have better luck there.

I am pretty sure this would be acceptable…As long as the EA schools are non-restrictive. It’s just like sending in regular decision apps, I would think. Remember, you’d have to withdraw the apps if you’re accepted. Make sure you double check with your ED college that it’s okay.

ED is legally biding, EA is not. So there is nothing wrong.

If you get accepted ED, you MUST withdraw all other applications, EA and RD. If you turn ur back on the ED admission and try to enroll somewhere else, you will be in a **** load of trouble since you will be blacklisted, and will be denied from all colleges except community college.
