Applying for a Ph.D with a Bachelor

<p>I have a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley with a 3.45 GPA and three summer research in the respective field. </p>

<p>I know for sure that I want a Ph.D. However, with my background, I am not sure if I should apply straight to a Ph.D program or should i apply for a Master program first.</p>

<p>That is a similar profile to what I had and I got into several PhD programs, FWIW.</p>

<p>If you have good letters of reference and good GRE scores, it should be no problem getting into a number of programs. If you have work experience that helps as well.</p>
