I was just wondering if colleges such as USC or Boston University accept simultaneous applications to both their BA and BFA programmes, or if they only allow you to apply to one of them. Does anyone know the answer to this question?

i remember looking at USC and BA you don’t audition for. BFA you have to audition.
online there is a form to fill out.
you need to fill out a form to apply
it is the same except BA is option for an interview and BFA you have to have an audition.
but in USC you can apply for both
when you fill out the sheet put down both

Also at USC, even if you don’t put both BA and BFA on your application, they will consider you for BA when you audition for BFA. My daughter only applied and auditioned for BFA, but was offered a place in the BA program. When you are at the BFA audition, you have an interview with the staff of the Theatre department. They ask you whether you would consider placement in the BA program if you are not accepted into the BFA. I heard that academics come more into play for acceptance to the BA – you have to be in line with the level of student being accepted at the university generally. The BFA acceptances are focused more (totally?) on the audition vs academics.
