Applying for Engineering! Slight Dilemma

Ok, I have a slight dilemma.

I just took the October SATs, and I will find out the scores in Late October. I might have to retake, I might not. However, that would be past the time to register for the november exams, which would mean December.

The Dilemma comes in the my SAT II Scores- I have a 620 in Chem and a 660 in Math II. I really would like to apply some top schools for Engineering, but I might not have time to retake at least the Math Subject test (no hope for Chemistry, haven't had the subject in about 2 years).

Will having weaker SAT IIs hurt me a bit in admissions?

I otherwise have very strong grades in Math and Sciences ( I am a New York State resident and have very strong regents scores in the subjects too, and scored a 6 on my IB Math Exam).

All feed back is greatly appreciated.

Register for them anyways even if you don’t know your scores.

If your scores are good enough, just don’t go. Or, go just to see what would happen.

If the school requires SAT IIs then it will probably affect admissions.

it won’t help your chances :(
