Oh, Castiel, calm down lol. We are all responding to your comments with a humorous tone. Any outlandish remark (in life, on CC) is going to be battered with incredulity and astonishment. Let’s all let it go.

And changing the subject, per request, back to Cornell…Cornell.

After doing a lot of research about trasnfering to school of hotel administration at Cornell. I found out that my chance is very good. I’m a CC student. I’m a multicultural student.
My GPA is high. I have a 4 years working as a restaurant manager and base on the school of hotel administration website “Most successful transfer students have had significant work experience in the hospitality industry which adds a unique perspective to our student body”. If I’m a girl, I definitely get into Cornell.

I just found out I was accepted at a school I would rather go to than Cornell. (I’m pumped!)

Should I withdraw my application even though all of the materials have been sent in and I won’t get my $70 back? Or should I wait to hear back from Cornell even though I’m not going to go there if I get accepted?

@Skys: it might be really bad favor to ask, but if you are CALS student, will you PLEASE withdraw, so I can have less competition? haha no hate! but it’s really up to you. My friend is not withdrawing, even though she decided to stay here even if she gets into Cornell, after submitting the apps. She says she wants to see if she can get in or not. So it’s up to you. haha. but if you are in CALS, I highly suggest you withdraw! :)

PEOPLE WITH BIO AND SUMMER SCHOOL!!! I don’t know if the answer has answered yet, but here is the e-mail I got from admissions office; I think they are annoyed at me now.
Email:
Having all required courses complete or in progress at the time of application will give you a more competitive application. If you intend to take summer courses, please indicate which courses, at which institution and when you expect to complete them by in the additional comments section of the application so that the Admissions Committee can take your plan into consideration when making a decision on your application. Please submit your winter quarter transcript once it is available, in lieu of a mid term report.

30 credits? C’mon man, that IS crazy. I mean I think 22 would be about MAX for any reasonable person. 30 credits is 7 classes and a 2 credit lab! That’s a little too much man. Anyways, basically the location. I love Ithaca and an really not the urban guy I thought I was.

will it be okay if i just submit my official high school transcript instead of submitting the secondary school report? its asking the high school counselor to basically do a letter of rec…they don’t even remember me, hows that supposed to work out?

isnt the high school transcript the thing they’re after anyways?

skyscraper - what school, if you don’t mind me asking? and yes, i would withdraw because it would help other people who would actually love to have your place.

freeday - i don’t think anyone who applied for fall comes on CC anymore, except me and 2 others who applied for fall but entered in the spring with me. their stats and whether or not they were accepted are in the fall thread, so just keep looking.

I have one question (especially for IRONICALLYUNSURE): I became the VP of my college’s tennis club in Fall 09. I am applying to CALS, Biological Sciences. Should I list this VP thing in my activities coz it’s not relevant to my major. What do you guys think?

@luckyeg: Well, it’s too late for me now. I already submitted and thus have no way to show that I will be taking those courses. Argh, bio requirements for AEM majors sounds more like a terrible joke…
