Hi there. I'm applying to NYU as a Fall07 transfer student. I'm sure that being a transfer would already put one at a disadvantage in terms of aid. The thing is, if accepted, I plan on commuting to NYU solely b/c of cost concerns. However, I wonder if I should just apply for housing and see what happens. NYU has a stingy rep with aid and my chances of getting any will only be abated by the fact that I'm a transfer. My EFC is around 37,000, so I highly doubt I would get any. Should I say I plan on living on campus in my FAFSA or should I let it go?
