If I want honors housing do I just apply for regular hosuing as normal and then send in the hnoros application to be considered? Do I mark Forbes, as the building that I want or another building. The honors hosuing website said to mark another building, but then why is Forbes a choice on the regular housing packet? I've already filled out my honors housing application and written the essay.

If anyone has any advice it would be appreciated!

I believe if you are accepted into the "honors" housing, they will notify housing and you will be assigned to Forbes. From what I can recall, there has been more applications than rooms at Forbes so you need to specify another housing request just in case they don't offer you the "honors" housing. Can you specify Forbes as your first choice and then list your second and third?

The application clearly says to choose something other than forbes because they two decisions are not linked. If you get into honors housing, you get Forbes no matter what you choose on the housing application. If you don't get into honors, then there is no way you get Forbes, so there is no point in choosing that on the housing application.
