Hey guys.
I’m applying to a couple private colleges, and I was a bit confused about some of the things required.
The commonapp for transfer students says that I need to include the colleges I did during HS.
However, I’m taking my classes at a different CC. Do I still need to include it?
Also, if I do include it, will it affect my overall college GPA? I have a 4.0 at my new CC, and I have a B in the dual enrollment college I used to go to.
Thanks!
All college courses taken (while in high school or otherwise) should be reported when you apply to colleges.
Most colleges calculate GPA based only on grades in courses at that college, even if you have transfer credit for courses taken at another college (in some cases, colleges that are connected somehow may include grades from all of the connected colleges, e.g. the UC system).
However, if you later apply to law or medical school, all college courses and grades are included in GPA calculated for those applications.
