<p>Sometimes students will be told there is no room for the fall, but if they can start in the summer or winter instead, there will be room for them. Tell the college/university that you want to start in the summer. If there are overcrowding issues they will like to know this. </p>
<p>At SOME colleges/universities admission is a bit easier in the summer or winter because the statistics reported to USNWR and other rankings-makers is based on the fall term. Whether this could work in your favor in your particular case is something that you would need to check with the particular college/university that you are interested in.</p>
