<p>In prompt one of the personal statement (where they talk about why you want to major in <em>) is it ok to say you want to major in </em> and major __ if both subjects are similar? I could easily relate the two majors I just wanted to know if you could do something like that. Because I am applying to different majors are different schools.</p>

<p>since you must apply to one, i think you should say that you intend to double major (if that's even possible).. that way one uc doesn't read a personal statement that you want to major in something, but are applying to some other major.</p>
