Applying RD. LOW SAT's/GPA?

Hey. I’m applying RD.
So My SAT’s are 1590. and my GPA is 3.5, 6 AP’s and all honors.

200+ hours of Com. Service
A couple of honors (NHS, painting honors award, and academic honors award)
and whole bunch of other E.C.'s

My essays are pretty good/strong though.
Good teacher recs. definitely.

I have like no chance right? :(

I’m really depressed right now. I don’t even know what to think.
Can someone tell me? Please? I just want to get my head straight.

DD got in with similar Stats, her GPA was a bit higher. BU cares more about GPA than test scores, check out college data dot com. Also think about applying directly to CGS

You have some chance, but like any applicant, you should have a plan B. Regardless of 2400 or 1500 SATs, 3.9 or 3.5 GPA, it’s always good to have some backup local/state schools. I, including some friends, didn’t have a plan B last year, but I got lucky with BU. :)

You should really try! Just show a lot of interest!

Gluck!

@mmm270 Isn’t it a little too late to show interest>(I’m seriously wondering, not trying to be sarcastic)

Well you have a chance, your course rigor is pretty good, and if your essays/recs are superb, then that is always a plus. Still though, BU will probably be a reach for you, so don’t bank on getting accepted(have safeties and such).
