This question may have been asked already. Sorry.

Will it increase my chances or will I find out decisions early if I submit my applications soon but under a regular decision plan? I am just curious. I am trying to avoid Early Decision but want to get my applications done early.

Some schools (Harvard, for instance), say that they consider applicants on a first-come first-served basis. So if you are the first person to send your application to such a school, your application is considered first, which does give you a small advantage. However, if a school does not explicitly say there is an advantage for submitting early, the adcom probably doesn’t even know who submitted their application when, so there won’t be an advantage.
