<p>So here is my dilemma. I applied to 4 state schools two of which I really wanted to go to and two of which were my back ups. And as luck would have it I didn't get into the schools I wanted to go to and got into the backs up. Two of these are Sac and San Diego. I really want to go to SD but didn't get in and now will most likely be attending Sac.</p>
<p>I am at a point where I will be moving out regardless of where I attend school so location wont be as big an issue since I will have to relocate for both scenarios I am about to list below.</p>
<p>I can do 1 of 2 things:</p>
<p>scenario 1) I can move to sac and attend there then apply for transfer to SD from Sac.
-What is the likelihood of this happening?
-What would be involved in the process.</p>
<p>scenario 2) I can move to SD and attend CC there and possibly apply for a TAG program with SD so insure acceptance.
- Really don't want to do this since I'd rather not stay another year at a CC but if I HAVE TO and the probability of the 1st scenario is less than .5 then I guess I really have no choice.</p>
<p>Have any of you personally done something like scenario 1?

Do you know of someone who has?</p>
