Applying to additional UCs after I already submitted app

I applied to some UCs in Nov., and now I just realized I should’ve applied to one more, UCSB. At first I wasn’t really considering it but after some research and stuff I’ve found it’s probably a good match.

Is it possible to ask them if they could include it along with the others?

The UC site says I could mail them a written request plus a check, but I was wondering if there’s another way, like online maybe.

Also, I’m out of state, but just recently my family has decided that they’re going to move to Cali next year, and I’ll be a resident in a year. Will it help my chances if I tell the admission people that?

<p>The moving thing won't help. Just appease them and sent the written request ASAP.</p>

<p>But with all the holiday mailing and stuff, it might not get to them in time. When will it be "too late"? It says they close for a while starting Dec 23. I dont know if my letter can reach them in time.</p>
