Applying to Governors School of Engineering...Tips?

<p>Hello!</p>

<p>I have been nominated for the NJ Governors School of Engineering and Technology for the summer of 2014. If anyone has gone through this process, do you have any advice concerning the application process? What should I include on my list of Extracurriculars, is there something I should watch out for in the essays portion?</p>

<p>Particularly, I am confused about the "Autobiographical Sketch Essay". The prompt says:</p>

<p>"create an autobiographical sketch of your background, history, interests, and ambitions. Be sure to describe what makes you unique"</p>

<p>should I reference one specific event and model my entire essay around that? or should I reference more than one event/attribute about me to create a "sketch" of what I am like?</p>
