Trying to figure out how to do the Honors College application, using the Common Application.

The common app seems to refer you to the Honors College site, and that says to fill out an application there.

So..
Do you
1) Do the Common App
2) Do the GW Common App Supplement
and
3) Do the GW Honors App?

Slightly confused - any one gotten through this yet?

thanks

Yes- and it's very worthwhile. You have it right in your post. 2 SAT 2s required- right?

No problem on on the SAT IIs. Some of the other schools my D. is applying to required them, so she had them anyhow.

OK- the honors app is a pain, as I recall- extra essay, right? But the honors program is very good, and the merit money is even better.

SAT 2's are not required, but recommended.

I believe that my daughter also needed an additional letter of recommendation
when she applied to the Honors program last year. My recollection is that is was supposed to be from a teacher who could speak specicifically to her writing ability.
