Applying to McGill University Faculties

Hi all! I'm going to write a lot so I'd appreciate an answer to any question you can help with.

TL;DR -
Would I have available, or be required to take, the same courses my first year in a B.S. in physical sciences as in physical sciences in the Faculty of Education?
Would I have a difficult time transferring from the Faculty of the Arts to the Faculty of Science after my freshman year due to required course differences?
Should I apply to the Faculty of Science with the Faculty of Arts, or Education? Or all 3?
Should I send in several entirely separate applications to the Faculties I hope to be admitted to to express equal interest, or would listing one as secondary to the other in my application be okay?

I'm an American student applying to McGill University. I'm a senior at Seton Hall Prep, where a couple students have applied from and been accepted in recent years. As I understand it, all of these students applied to, in addition to the Faculty they were most interested in, to the Faculty of Education, knowing its low admission standards. They were accepted, and then transferred to their Faculty of primary interest after their freshman year.

I am primarily interested in Physics, so I'd apply to the Faculty of Science for a B.S. in physical science. Apparently at McGill, all physical science students of any sort take the same first year courses. So my friend S told me that if I go into secondary education for the physical sciences, I'll take the same required courses my first year as I would in the Faculty of Science, making a transfer very easy. Is this true?

I also noticed that the Faculty of the Arts actually has lower admission requirements than that of Education. I'm interested in both English and Philosophy, so I would be happy here if I were not admitted to either other Faculty or if the Faculty of Education wouldn't give me the same first-year options as the Faculty of Science. However, does anyone know if I would have a tough time transferring from the Faculty of the Arts to Science after my first year because of the courses I'll have taken?

Last, I'm wondering if I should send in entirely separate applications to the Faculties I'm interested in, or if listing one as a secondary choice in an application is okay. I want to be sure to express genuine interest in the Faculties I apply to. Money and time are insignificant to me for how much I want to be accepted, so I'd be happy putting out the extra effort unless it isn't going to make a difference.

For those who would like to know, on my transcript I have all As in high level English courses, an A in an honors Philosophy seminar, one A and 3 B+s in high level Math courses, and all As in the 6 high level science courses I've taken. I also have high standardized testing scores (2300 SAT, 35 ACT). Thank you for any knowledge you can offer!

Take it from me,if you cannot get into the faculty of science now,you will not be able to transfer into it. GPA standards for interfaculty transfers are extremely high, and with Mcgill’s brutal grading system(especially in the first year classes) it’s possible but definitely not a walk in the park.

I believe you should look into the combined Arts & Science program. As I understand it, it is like dual major where you have 2 tracks, one in Arts and one in Science where you can do your Education and Physics together. The admission requirement is not less but the tuition fee is fortunately similar to the pure Arts faculty.
