Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to get into McIntire as a junior from the engineering school. I heard that it is usually not done, but does anyone know if it is a strict requirement that you must enter McIntire from A&S? Thanks!
@nutellapikachu Yes, you can, but you’ll lose your SEAS enrollment status if you accept an offer from McIntire. Have you considered the engineering business minor? Of course it’s not the same thing, but you get access to McIntire classes and still get to work towards an engineering degree with a working knowledge of business as it applies to engineering.
@Fennekin thanks for the response! i’ll definitely look into the engineering business minor
If you wanted to move from SEAS into McIntire, you’d have to figure out a way to fit all of the prerequisite courses into your schedule. Students in the College don’t seem to have any trouble doing that, but you might have to do some extra work to get it done as a SEAS student.
I think the Engineering Business minor is a fantastic suggestion!
