Applying to McIntire?

I marked SEAS on my application because I was really interested in engineering at the time (and I'm awful with foreign languages). But, interests change.

Currently, I'm really interested in finance, biomed, and computer science, in that order. Is it possible (as in not unheard of) for a SEAS student to apply to and be accepted at McIntire? When I read over the Engineering Business Minor, it seemed oriented towards business management and not investing/finance.

If yes, then:

Any particular classes I should take (already taking micro econ)

How often do people go from SEAS to the Comm school?

Anything else I should know?

Yes, its possible.

You have to take all the regular mcintire prereqs

There’s a few every year (its not uncommon)

If you do well in engineering classes + prereqs while showing an interest in business, you should be OK.
