Applying to Stanford as a Sophomore Transfer

<p>I am planning to apply as a transfer to Stanford. Here are my stats:</p>

<p>Half Filipino, Half Persian
California Resident
First generation American</p>

<p>High school:
3.5 GPA
ACT: 33
SAT Math Level 2: 800
SAT World History: 800
SAT Physics: 780
AP Computer Science: 3
AP Environmental Science: 4
AP Calculus AB: 5
AP Calculus BC: 5
AP Statistics: 5
AP Economics: 5
AP US Government: 5
AP Psychology: 5
EC: Skateboarding mentor for elementary school children at my local skate park, used to be sponsored by a few local companies, attended Google's CSSI program.</p>

<p>College:
Computer Science Major at San Jose State.
4.0 GPA
Working on developing apps for the Android Store (released in May).</p>

<p>Do I have a good chance at getting into Stanford as a sophomore transfer or should I wait and apply as a junior transfer?</p>

<p>For sure, I’m planning to apply to Berkeley but they only allow junior transfer applicants.</p>

<p>All taken in high school</p>

<p>San Jose was a safety school for me since I am a California resident.
And no, I did not apply to Stanford in high school because I felt I did not meet their standards.</p>

<p>I applied to SLO and UCLA, but got rejected. I am dependent on my parents, ~70k annual income. I am making $500/month from stocks to help with tuition.</p>
