Post your questions here. Hopefully some current students will check back occasionally in case anyone has questions (I am a parent of a current Stevens student).

We just visited the school today with my son, a rising HS senior. he will be studying engineering, and seriously considering applying early decision there. a very different experience from the large university setting, but it seems that the focus is on producing a finished product. We were very impressed with the student guides, who really did a great job in explaining the benefits of the school. I was not sure how my son would feel about the school. but we both agree that even with the cost you would get a tremendous return on investment if he went there.

We enjoyed our guides as well. We also liked talking to random students around campus; they were really friendly and helpful. Glad you had a good visit!

My son just came back from a Summer program on engineering at Stevens and he was impressed. Seems like a good school and they claim a high employment rate for grads. Beautiful campus.

Gonna be visiting this Saturday, definitely looking forward to it.

I wish I could have participated in the computer science summer program, seems like it would be worthwhile. Can I still take it after getting accepted the same year (assuming I do, hoping I do)?

Also, I’d like to ask about the Computer Science program at Stevens. Can anybody share their thoughts (if professors are hit or miss, if it prepares you well enough to succeed after college, stuff like that)?
