I read somewhere on the Cornell subforum that during the admissions process, when you apply for which college in Cornell you want to attend, the admissions officer checks to see if it matches your interests and stuff. I'm a little worried about how scattered my extracurriculars look (as in I have Science Olympiad Coach, Youth Symphony Orchestra Assistant Principal, Newspaper Editor, Asian Culture Club Secretary, etc.) so would it be better if I applied to College of Arts and Sciences since it's a liberal arts college and they favor people with BROAD academic interests? By the way, I'm undecided in my major and most likely applying ED.

If you’re undecided, the only places you CAN apply undecided are Arts and Sciences or Engineering Undecided.

The rest of the colleges require declaring a major for admission.

Human ecology is undecided too. Engineering and Human Ecology have higher acceptance rates so I’m thinking of applying there.

you NEED a really good ‘Why College?’ essay for the contract schools, including HumEc.
