Applying to the Hill School?

<p>Is anyone applying to the Hill? It seems I am the only one. Are any of you current students?</p>

<p>No probably will in mid-late January however I received a letter after the SSATs telling me to interview. I’m not too worried about anything to tell you the truth. How about you?</p>

<p>I am too :slight_smile: I love it that the applications are due on the 31st… Just out of curiosity, how does The Hill School compare to the rest of the major boarding schools?</p>

<p>It has a slightly higher acceptance rate, which I was nervous about, but when I visited and talked to all of the students and faculty there, I realized that the academics are absolutely on par with those at Deerfield and Lawrenceville (the only 2 “HADES”-type schools I’m applying to). The matriculation list is solid, but that list isn’t the law. If you go there and work your a** off, you can get into an Ivy if you so desire. I loved the feel of the campus, too!</p>
