Applying to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is EA better or RD？

As long as you can complete a strong application, apply EA to all schools where it is possible as long as it is not restricted or single choice early action. If you need more time for essays or strong first quarter or semester grades, apply RD. Many schools want EA applications for honors or scholarship consideration. Good luck!

As a general rule, EA is always better. Exceptions may include when a student needs first quarter/semester senior grades to present a better application.
