Cornell ORIE (ED) - Match
MIT Sloan Management Science (EA) - High match
Princeton ORFE (SCEA) - Low reach.

I agree with Rev sam, with Cornell, however both MIT and PRinceton may be tougher due to the competition of applicants, who most have 2300+ SATs

Yeah that’s my worry and is why I’m leaning towards Cornell ED. I think the ACT 34 is good though right? I just think Cornell ED would be the best way to go, they love my school (they accepted 26 kids last year from my school).

The ACT is better than your SAT, however Northeast schools tend to have more SAT applicants (could be an advantage or disadvantage) I would have to say you would have no problem getting into Cornell ED with that record, however the ED decision is always challenging as you dont want to waste it. AT all three schools ED will help your chances as well, and you have solid EC’s so i could see MIT as plausible, with Princeton as below avg chance

Yeah I spent my summer at cornell this year and I love it there, so I wouldn’t call it wasting an ED, but I would love to know if I could get into MIT/Pton which are my super reach/dream schools.

No by wasting i meant ed ing a school like princeton and not getting in, when you couldve gotten in to MIT or Cornell. The fact of the matter is, although the schools are somewhat different, they all are elite schools that will set you up nicely in the future. If you love ithaca and Cornell, then it seems like a great choice for you

Obviously these schools are tough to predict but I’d say you could get into Cornell without the ED (but my friend who got into Harvard and Princeton and wait listed at Stanford got flat out denied from Cornell so who knows). With the ED I think you have a very strong chance though, and still a strong chance without it. Applying to MIT early helps a little, but not too much. I’m not sure about Princeton because it’s the first year back, but I’m guessing they don’t want to over enroll so it will be similar (maybe slightly easier) than RD. I’d say is a low-low reach while Princeton is a low reach (MIT is slightly easier, but still tough)

Yeah idk this is a tough choice for anyone hahaha, but we’ll see anyway.
Thanks for the input, and chanced back.

No problem, you are in a good place to be haha. I updated my post (well added stuff in a new post) so hopefully that gives you a better idea for my chances)

Cornell-match
MIT-high match
Princeton-low reach (but a great chance)

I think you’ll be a super competitive applicant wherever you apply to.
