Applying to transfer from b.u. To several others

WM Freshman at Boston University looking at several possibilities to transfer for Fall 2010. 3.6gpa for Fall 2009 term (College of Arts & Sciences), 1300 SAT (700M/600V), work part-time, one EC, two V sports in h.s. (probably doesn't even matter), not applyng for fin. aid (again, probably doesn't even matter).

Can anyone tell me their thoughts on my shots at the following:

Villanova
Notre Dame
Boston College
UNC-Chapel Hill
Wake Forest
Cornell
UMass-Amherst

Any and all info/thoughts you may have are greatly appreciated - thanks!

You have a really good shot at Villanova, notre dame, umass, BC. Among all these places, Cornell is the most difficult to get into specially if u r applying to the College of Arts and Sciences.

You’ll get into umass for sure. the others seem like low reaches

im a sophomore at gettysburg college in PA, a small competitive liberal arts school, and applied to transfer to UNC last year with a college GPAof 3.17. I knowthis is definitely low, and I was rejected mainly for that reason. This fall I got a 3.67 bringing my average to 3.33…i’m not instate but have been told numerous times this doesn’t matter for transfers. any way to evaluate my chances? I had a 4.5 weighted gpa in HS, 2030 combined SATs for all 3 sections, involved in 3 sports and a ton of clubs.
