<p>Hey everyone!
Okay... so I'm having a bit anxiety because I just applied to SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Potsdam, and SUNY Buffalo State College.<br>
I'm getting my associates degree in fashion illustration at FIT in NYC, which is a SUNY school as well. </p>
<p>In high school I had a 3.4 and SAT scores of 1090/1640. But I applied to a lot of ART colleges that placed a lot of emphasis on my portfolio as opposed to my grades.
The thing is, I'm applying to New Paltz, Postdam, and Buff State for Art Education. So I'm a little nervous since it's going to be a more academic major. </p>
<p>I just finished my 3rd semester at FIT. I have about 55 credits so far. I got a 3.0 1st and 2nd semester and I believe I will have a high GPA for this 3rd semester that just ended. I've been taking a heavy course load (20 credits 3rd semester and doing it again in the spring + winter classes!)</p>
<p>I think since I have so many college credits already that none of my high school stats will be taken into consideration but correct me if I'm mistaken.</p>
<p>Is there anything else I should know about applying to transfer to another SUNY? Should I send a resume/high school stats/ letter of reccomendation also as if I were applying as a freshman? What are my chances of getting into these schools for art education? Have you heard anything nice/not so nice about their departments?</p>
