Transfer to suny new paltz

<p>hello!</p>

<p>I applied to transfer to suny New Paltz for the fall 2009 semester.
I would be going for the BFA graphic design degree.</p>

<p>I would be entering as a sophomore </p>

<p>My high school grades averaged out to be around an 87-89%
and I was 400/621 in my graduating class :X</p>

<p>I'm not good with testing which leads to my 960/1600 for my SAT grade</p>

<p>however I have a excellent portfolio and my essays are great.
(many people have told me so)</p>

<p>and my first semester grades equal out to a 3.06 gpa
and I'm hoping to get at least a 3.5 gpa for the spring semester.</p>

<p>Do you think that they will base a lot of my acceptance on my high school grades?
or more on my college?</p>

<p>what are my chances into transferring New Paltz?!</p>

<p>shadedsky - you may want to also post this on the SUNY general forum. There are a few NP moms and students who frequent there and you might get some responses from them.</p>
