I guess this is a question for people who have applied with Cornell or are familiar with the process, but how do you apply to two different colleges within Cornell? I know that you can apply to two, and select a first choice and second choice; is this on the Cornell application itself? Also, do people who chose a college as their first choice get priority over you if it’s your second choice? Last question: Do the boards from both colleges review the application individually, or is it passed on to your second choice if you don’t get into your first?
I think this option went away a couple years ago. Now you make your choices and take your chances.
Well, you do not know that you can apply to two, because you can not. Old information around the internet is not the current information on the admissions website. All you need to know as an applicant can be found there https://admissions.cornell.edu/apply/first-year-applicants/admissions-requirements
For last year at least, there was only one option and for COE at least, you there is an extensive supplemental essay. You also need to submit your mid-term (quarterly) grades, which you do not have to do for all of the colleges.
