Oh the excitement in the Air....mailmen being stalked. Feels like Christmas in February and March. Just remember only 4 months to BCT, and I hear the BCT Commander is a tough cookie. Start running now, and don't forget the push-ups/pull-ups. Colorado air has a way of taking down even top athletes. Ever see an opposing defensive lineman at a Denver home game sucking the oxygen.

The BCT Commander is actually a really nice guy from what I hear, but you probably won't get to see that side of him very much. ;)

Uh, who is the Beast Commander for '12?

Cadet Curry I believe.

Yes, it's C/SMSgt (soon to be Cadet Colonel) Kellen J. Curry, a name none of us 2011ers will forget any time soon. ;)

He's in CS-10, so I'm thinking hornet probably knows him fairly well...

It is Curry, he's a good guy, but tough as nails! My room mate got a Group staff BCT job through him. So, you guys will be memorizing my roomie's name over summer. :)

Whats a Cadet Colonel?

Highest ranking cadets. 6 of them: 4 group commanders, wing commander, and vice wing commander.

Rank at the Academy is based on class year and job. Cadet Colonel is the highest rank a cadet can hold, and like hornet said, there aren't very many of them.

Cadet Rank

Well I am officially going crazy. March is less that one week away and it is the big month. The only thing keeping my mind off the coming month is my marathon im running this coming weekend. I am going crazy! I have four nominations and medically qualified now thanks to my waiver and cant wait much longer.

What did you guys do to keep your sanity?

Don't think about it too much. Try to focus on other things, like your marathon, for example. :)

It is really hard....

Gosh.. I know the feeling, my admissions officer told me a week ago that my file would be put before the panel within a week or two. I've been going crazy since then. I can hardly think of anything else. However it is good to know I'm not the only one!

mail truck just came, and it was there! woohoo!!! :)

haha yepp... geez: life insurance, security clearance, drum & bugle corps, AOG, PO Box..

got my package today as well
makes everything just so much more real
121 days left!! can't wait

:( and i beging the wait of another day. Question, About how long does it take to update on your application page for DODMERB. DodMerb granted me the waiver and im PPQ but my page still says disqualified, also im disqualified from ROTC from all of this so since I have a waiver for the Academy, will they just give me one for ROTC?

Nor can we. ;):)

all this stuff made me stop and think.. next of kin, money in case you go MIA or POW, who's responsible for your body.. it's all part of it though; hopefully won't ever need it :)

About what week in March do most of the appointments come out? Are they all pretty eavenly spread out or do they do a mass mailing of all of them at one time? As you can see, I am going crazy.
