<p>plan on 4:30 again. that seems to work with ppl getting there, giving enough time to eat and talk before the cadets have to return for ACQ (academic call to quarters, aka mandatory study time)</p>

<p>If anyone will have ride issues (no car/parents) then TX roadhouse is a bad choice since Famous Dave's is almost straight across the street from the Academy Hotel.</p>

<p>Hornetguy is right about the Texas Roadhouse...you'll definitely need a car and it's harder to find if you are talking about the one on Powers. Famous Dave's would be a more central location to the hotels.</p>

<p>There is a new one outside the north gate in Monument, easier and quicker than the one on Power's, but still a 15 min drive from the south gate area.</p>

<p>I finally got my login - I've been reading - but waited till my son got an appointment before I joined. We will be coming for orientation tomorrow and wondered if it would be ok to join you all for dinner. (My son is still waiting to get his login confirmed - so that is why I sent the message)</p>

<p>Also, my squad's sup is letting me borrow his car for tonight. I have room for 3 more, if any of my fellow cadets need a ride to and from.</p>
