Here are restaurant ideas, I have been to all of these in my area, so say your preference food wise from these:

Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano
California Pizza Kitchen
PF Changs China Bistro
Ted’s Montana Grill

Ted’s would probably cater to the widest tastes (moderate prices). PF Changs isn’t for anyone that doesn’t like chinese much, especially mushrooms (moderate priced)! CPK has good pizzas, great variety, moderate prices. Biaggi’s, one word: italian, little bit more pricey, nicer place.

I (autocockergunner) don't know if I'm going to go. Might as well count me out and if it fits in, great. I might be staying with my soon-to-be sponsor family, or hanging out with a cadet, so we'll have to see.

I need those going to this to put in their choice. I'll make it easier.

Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano
Ted's Montana Grill

Personally I would like the Italian. I'll hold off until AFDAD can tell me how Ted's was. In the meantime, please say if you disapprove of Italian or of the Italian price. ;)

Ok then, unless the restaurant is booked when I call tomorrow, here will be the plans:

Meet 1800 in the Academy Hotel Lobby on Sunday, April 16th. Leave for an 1830 reservation at Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano. If you can't meet in the lobby, at the restaurant would be fine as well.

I will book one table for four and another table for six.

If these conflict then please PM or post here. I will be making the reservations at 1700 tomorrow (monday) central time and I will check here first before making the reservation. Also, I still need aforce06's contact info, and I would suggest you all trade info as well.

Can't wait to meet you fine peeps at dinner! I loooove italian!

I might make it too, I'm also going to the April 17-18th oriendation. I'll just find a nearby table :) and my name isn't really Andy :p...

lol, o man, that was a blast! BTW, maybe its just me but I always saw UNcynical as U.N. (like United Nations) cynical. Haha, its uncynical. I say that cause she rocked! spent 2.5 hours in her room i think. Ah man, you are a funny one, sad I won't be one of your "children" :(

Ok, so dinner. Our group went from 4 to 10! While sitting in the lobby we met a bunch of others and I got the reservation changed without a problem. There were 8 or 10 parents as well. Dinner went well, I liked mine. We had awesome conversations, made a bunch of nicknames as well. Just plain sweet! All of them are still up in CO, I'm back home now. Incredible weekend, except the 6 HOURS of briefings lol.

I think it was closer to 3 and a half hours, as you came over shortly after we got back from dinner and didn't leave until shortly before Taps. It was a fun time, though. The name thing was funny, and also concerning names... I shall keep all nicknames that may or may not have been given to a certain person secretive. And perhaps by being one of my pseudo-appointees you can be one of my adopted children by default, haha.
