There was some problem with history “into” or “onto”… which one was it? Can’t remember.

@Stanford Yes, it was definitely wintry… I think that was the only actual word that was a choice lol.

@Stanford Yes, it was definitely wintry… I think that was the only actual word that was a choice lol.

@ anon the one before that. there was an option to put a comma before “had” and that’s all I remember… I was debating whether a comma went there

i put wintry, i dunno if winteringly is even a word, into history i think is what i put

Okay, so there was this one about keeping a plastic bucket in the shower to water the tree. Did you delete the underlined portion or put “from there?” 'Cuz otherwise it was

I used dirty dishwater to water the tree. I kept a plastic bucket in the shower and watered the tree in there.

In there didn’t make sense, but without that the “watered the tree” seems random, and the two ideas are unconnected.

Also, the one about the Vietnam memorial, was it:

adorning the wall with flags etc.
or
the wall was adorned with flags etc.

The second one made more sense, but it was passive voice, so I wasn’t sure.

I said no comma, I believe.

It’s definitely ‘the wall was adorned’ because it was the wall was etched, not the visitors or the flags.

i put the wall was adorned… i think thats called a dangling modifier if its not corrected

@firesoul Same answer here.

kay good, because that’s what I put. But what about the tree one?

That tree one was really weird. I put “from that” but I am not sure.

Also, was one of the answers: “at the shopping mall”

Which one was it? “Bring forth” or “come up with”?? haha, you guys are mixing the two. I put “bring forth”

what tree one? i remember the last question was asking about the essay as a whole, and i put no since it was only his back yard or somthing

The one with “from that,” “in there,” delete, and something else. The shopping mall was one for the statue one.

What was the answer for the one that asked about the tree asking which one provides new and relevant information, I put at the shopping mall.

bring forth my bad, shopping mall sounds right

@agn I put from that, otherwise the sentence doesn’t make sense.

@bio Yes, I remember putting shopping mall for an answer.

What was the answer to the Chinese Passage about why the “shop” was expanded. I put that it needed more room for business, I think. I said that because in the passage, it talked about all of the storage that the expansion resulted in. I may be completely msitaken. What was the answer?

Definitely shopping mall, because it added new information.

Damn, I said expanded because one woman had eight children…I didn’t think that it discussed significant growth in the size of their business.

Actually, I think it was the 8 children. That’s what I said.

Yesssss 10char
