what was the LCD question?

@ theman755 : i think 30 can be anywhere from 6-8 wrong choices.i have an account on ACT test prep, got 4 wrong, and the score was 34.

Awwww, I didn’t recognize that it was a 45-45-90 triangle I guess.
I found the distance between A(-2,0) and B(0,4), and put that over the distance from A(-2,0) to C(4,0).
Pooper scooper.

I hope that’s all I missed…

what was the one about the sin/cosine graph mutation?

it was cosx to cos(x-pi/4) + 1

so it moved right pi/4 and up one

Oh and there was one that was like x^2 + y^2 = 256, what is the biggest value x can be so that y remains a real number? Or something like that?

That was 16, right?
The other answer choices were huuuuuuuuuge.

ya it was 16

Disregard what I just said, I read the post wrong.

Yeah 16 so you could make x=16 and y=0 so 16^2 + 0^2 = 256

Haha that’s what I thought.
I was feeling kind of insecure about that one at first because I was like, “Is the ACT really asking me this?”

I actually ended up skipping that question. Imagine me, with my 740 Math SAT, having to skip question 5 on the ACT exam. I went back and was like “***? this is so easy!”

I ran out of time in the end and I had to put the second answer choice for the last 5 questions…were any of those right?

does no one remember the arithmetic series maximum and minimum numbers??

I believe it was 13 and 37, exclusive, but I’m not sure.

but it went by, like, 3’s I think

Oh yeah I remember that question, I don’t remember the answer.

I didn’t use a formula or anything on it though- I wrote out the numbers because there were only like 5 in between 13 and 37, if i remember correctly…
I just know that you could count the numbers, you didn’t have to use a formula.

Wasn’t the answer to that problem 6?
If so then the numbers did go up by 3

Unless I have gone completely bonkers, I’m pretty sure the answer to that question was 7. Unless I counted one of the originals, in which then, **** me.

Oops, sorry, I meant 7!

Phew…
