has anyone from New Jersey gotten their scores yet? Most of my friends haven’t, but my friends from other states have. I CAN’T WAIT ANY MORE!

comp: 32

Eng: 29
Math: 35
Reading: 32
Science: 31

Well I was hoping to do better. I did do better from my first test which I scored a 30 on. If I study, I can see myself scoring higher. I might need it for the top schools I want to go to. I do have a pretty extensive robotics hobby that might help me.

Either there are a lot of ■■■■■■, or a ton of kids received 36’s. If it’s option #2, CONGRATZ!

Anyone from Colorado gotten their scores?

I’m from jersey, got my scores (though I went to sleep on Sunday). I did much better than I expected: aiming and hoping (and thought I missed) a 27, but got a 29 (with just taking practice tests). And I know I made stupid mistakes in English, should I be ambitious and retake? My GPA isn’t ivy, but maybe with a 30+ ACT score I can get into a great school like Tufts or NYU (though I KNOW the latter deflates their admissions #s, and it’s also a bit “naturally inflated”)

Comp. 34
W - 34
M - 34 (fail…)
R - 33 (fail curve…)
S - 34 (=])

I’m bummed by my math score and my reading score. I was pretty sure I got a 36 on math and was hoping for a 36 on reading or a 35 but the curve screwed up my chances for even a 34!

BTW, will colleges look down upon my 07 in essay (W was 30 w/ essay). Essay was extremely well written, but was off-topic. I was actually surprised that I pulled off a 07. I came out of the test pretty sure I received a 0 lol.

If someone could answer my question, I would greatly appreciate it.

^ a 7 isn’t horrible, and it probably won’t be a big factor in their decision, but I’d take it again if I were you. You could also pull up your composite if you do better on your math and reading.

On another note, are they going to release more scores tonight at midnight? They say they update them every Wednesday and Friday, so it’ll be Wednesday in about 3 and a half hours.

Oops. I put writing twice in my response. I meant to put essay, then English. :)

I hope I get my score tonight!

I am from New Jersey as well and I got my scores the morning they were first released.

Math: 34
Reading: 34
Writing: 34
Science: 27

Composite: 32

I am so mad about science… since it was the only score I didn’t raise at all. But I do not think that I will be retaking it, because colleges do not really look at it. Plus, I am not trying to major in science.

Attention: Stop blaming “the curve”

well… looks like no scores today either…

Nope. Supposedly at 4pm CST on Wednesday they’re posted

Oh ok I thought it would be midnight again. Ughhh this wait is getting intense.

352

We’re in Colorado, and my DD received her scores Sunday night.

I got my scores posted right on monday midnight, but my mail score hasn’t come in yet. I live in California. Does anyone else have this issue?

Oh and I got a 30 composite. Good enough for me!
No more SAT/ACT!

I had to use a bad eraser during the test, so I believe mine is smudged. Will that delay scoring a lot? I hope that’s not enough to throw it out… My status is still registered as well

I received my scores today (finally!). What I don’t understand is that I have a 35 in English, but both of my subscores are 18. What gives?

My D scores were posted this morning in OH w/writing
C: 35
E: 34
M: 35
R: 36
S: 34

@Geekmann:
Each test score is NOT the sum of the subscores for each section.

Here’s mine that I got this morning…
E = 29
M = 26
R = 28
S = 25
C = 27

My first ACT so pretty much what I was expecting… I’ll take again in June and study my ass off until I get at least a 30!
