I couldn't find a thread for the State testing for today's ACT, so I figured I would start one. What did everything thing about the test? Easy? Hard?

Wow… I meant “Everyone”

Did anyone take the ACT today?

English was about average. Math was very easy I would forecast a difficult curve. Reading was about average in my opinion. Science is what gave me the trouble i would say, though it was only one of the 6 question passages that messed me up.

Im in illinois by the way I assume we were the only state that took the test today?

I am from South Carolina, so no, it was not just Illinois.
I though Reading was average, Science and English easy, but Math difficult (And I normally score 35-36 on Math). So I wonder if we had the same test? @emmetstar

71B i believe or maybe it was 71D

@emmetstar yeah, it was something like that! I remember the 71… I think it was D maybe? I don’t know, it all is a bit of a blur. Let’s see… did you have a reading passage about the slick baseball?

Yes but i believe it was an english passage. Same one then

I had 71B.

I thought that English was very easy, math easier than the Feb ACT, reading somewhat difficult, and science definitely more difficult that unusual. I’m guessing the English won’t have a great curve, math will be average, reading will have a decent curve and science having a generous curve. Although the science curve is never really generous.

Anyone have an idea when these scores will come out?

I took 71B. I’ve only taken one other ACT, but this one was noticeably easier. Math was a breeze, reading and English were average, and science was hard, but waaay easier than the June test. I’m feeling a really harsh curve for math

I took 71B… I thought Math, Science, and English were pretty easy compared to the February ACT, but I found the reading quite a bit harder (at least the first few passages)… however this could have been due to my lack of focus from the stupid kid next to me who would not blow his nose!!

Since we aren’t registered on the website, do we have to wait 5-8 weeks for scores? Ugh!

Does anyone remember what they put for the freezing English question? I chose “had froze” in midair but others iin my class chose “was frozen”. Any thoughts?

Pretty sure I used “was frozen.” It doesn’t really make sense if you say “he was froze in midair…” at least that was my logic!

Math question for the two triangles, which line segment was longer. I was stuck between two answers which both had 59 degrees as opposing angles? What’d you guys choose?

I had no idea on that one so I picked the line shared by both triangles… i think it might have been AC?

Also, there was one question on the english that was like: Pick the option that best shows there was only one Negro People’s something… and I was stuck between the answer with “that” or the answer with a comma followed by which.

For the triangle one…
It was two triangles put together connected on the same line. One triangle had that line at 60 degrees and the other had it at 59 degrees. I believe the answer was the 59 degree angle line on the triangle that had the 60 degree connecting line.

@megans113: I’m pretty sure it was ,which because that didn’t make sense grammatically or something like that.

@imagineer10: so not the line shared right?

it was NOT the line shared.
