April 9th 2011 Scores

W T F I got a 6 on the essay again!!! 30 min isnt enough!! Anyway a 32 composite is still good and most colleges dont care.

In other news I interviewed for a congressional internship this summer and they gave me the spot right there!!! My first interview and it was awesome!

C:31(.25 :D)
E:33
R:30
M:31
S:31
E: 8/12

… I want to get at least a 33 next time.

@FutureVpFinace who are you working for this summer? I’m interviewing to work in Dianne Feinstein’s office, and it’s not often that you find folks like us in High School who intern.

yankeefreak127- I’m working for Congressman Broun. And you’re right about the intern thing. Not many ppl do it in HS. Let’s hope it sets up apart then!!

C: 35
E: 35
M: 35
R: 36
S: 34

In science, I hated those graphs! But I’m really happy with my score, I just want to get my writing back

C: 36

E:36
M:36
R: 34
S: 36

I’m kind of irked about the reading curve, but oh well. This was my second time taking it; I got a 36 in reading in October so yay for superscoring! haha

Trying to check my scores right now and it’s temporarily unavailable… Lol been waiting so long, took with no prep I just wanna know how I did already

Eh… I got a 22. 28 on English, but everything was below my ability.

ENGLISH 28
MATH 18
READING 20
SCIENCE 21

Good thing I want to go into Journalism.

Hmm… I find it quite strange that 90% of the people on this site claim to have well above 30’s when only 4% of the National Average receive a 30 or higher… Just something I found a bit odd…

^ why would someone lie…

@Alex32
CC has a disproportionate number of high-achievers, but if you think about it if you get an ACT of 15 why would you go on CC? Most people that care enough about the college application process to go on CC will be applying for competitive entry schools or scholarship programs and have higher scores.

Who said anything about people lying, arrness? And thank you HighOracle. That’s a very acceptable answer.

C: 32
E: 34
M: 32
R: 31
S: 30

Well, I really wanted at least a 33, but I guess I’m pretty happy with my score. I mean, it beats my SAT score of 2070. I signed up for the June SAT… should I take that? Or just focus on my SAT subject tests?

I got a 9 on the writing. How do I know if this is a good writing score or not? It brought my English score down 2 points so I’m assuming it kinda sucks, huh?

@alex32: You very clearly hinted at it. Don’t play dumb.

so I still haven’t gotten my scores, is it probable that it will come out today? D: I am still listed as registered…

The site says they are usually updated on Wednesdays and Fridays. I’d assume they would have posted them by this time of the day, but I’m not sure.

i still haven’t gotten mine either
and i’m sortaa freaking out right now.
too many ap tests plus the sat in a week :open_mouth:
plus no act scores back yet…
if i had my act scores back, and they were good…
then i wouldn’t have to stress about the SAT.
hmm… gee thanks ACT D: D: D:
falkjdfasdfldf;lk.

Just got writing score - 9. Dropped English 2 points lol. Wrote just over 2 pages, had counter-argument, but my arguments were really weak because the prompt was terrible.

@ruthie2012 and others who still don’t have their act:
we have to wait till Wednesdays and Fridays. D:
I called up and if you were to get them on one of those dates it would be around 8:30 Central. They supposedly just score the tests randomly and you would have been notified if there was a problem. ugh, I hate this.

Does the writing section count towards the english? :open_mouth: I thought it was just a separate score (and that isn’t even included in the composite).
