April ACT: What did you think?

I don't think it was However. It was "For instance, his photographs of..." I put "For instance,..."

also, is it possible to challenge ACT questions? The rectangular plot area problem in math seems to have been worded very, very vaguely, and i think the answer could be either 8x13 or 10x15.

anyone remember the question about Exhaustion and fatigued? I put just exhuastion was that right?

oh and the question with Easiest Recognized, or Most easily recognized, which one was right? I put Most easily, but I had easiest recognized at first...

Yeah, exhausted and fatigued are synonyms.

mhh3134: I put "HIS..."

is the photographer question "His photographs" or "For instance, his photograph..."

i put his. he goes from talking about martin luther king jr to singers like elvis. it doesnt indicate a contrast nor something thats an example of a previous statement.

oh and the question with Easiest Recognized, or Most easily recognized, which one was right? I put Most easily, but I had easiest recognized at first...

bump

most easily recognized

Okay so going down the list I got:
1. density and volume only
2. 70 for mirror (checked like 2 times)
3. 2/3 was right (checked like 2 times XD)
4. i also put friendly exchange and music (where the hell was music though 0.o) cuz none of other choices made sense (they def. did not argue or hate each other)
5. boiling pt was inbetween 102-104
6. garden was 47ft of fence, 150sq.ft. area, 8 rows
7. i think it was just "his..." and not "however..." or "for instance..."
usually the right answer is the one w/o superfluous/unnecessary words
8. yes just "exhaustion" (once again no unnecesarry words)
9. its "most easily recognized" (idiom) - you can't say "easiest recognized"

Ok so i think i got everything on this page down. Anyone have different answers?

the science question about the water mixing together after the divider was removed. did you say that it wouldnt mix because the hotter one had higher density? i dunno

whats #4 about

the hotter water would have a lower density, so mixing would occur. In the passage it said that the water level rose when the water was heated, so volume increased while mass stayed the same.

But the hotter/lower density water was already on the top. The water with the higher density was already settled at the bottom, so I don't think they would mix.

a2npersuas2n, that's what i got on all of mine too

i put the would mix cuz hot is less dense but i'm not sure
cuz water keeps getting denser as it cools up till 4 degrees, but then it starts getting less dense (ice is less dense than water) so...
anyway, i looked it up online and if the temperatures were 80 degrees and 0 degrees, 80 degree water is less dense, therefore if the lower temp. were 0 degrees and up, then ur answer is right (i think)

it was the Ola thing where its like what was the atmoshere of the meeting or watvr...
the rest of the choices were like A.) they hate each other but the meeting turn friend (obv. not) B.) they like each other but start bickering and getting annoyed (dont think so unless friendly jokes can be considered bickering) C.) i forget but i hope it was wrong :)

what was the question about that had 2/3 as the answer?

it was the random sideways trapezoid that was asking for slope of line that divided it into half

i put that it was a potential confrontation but because of their personalities, everything worked out. it had nothing to do with music. it definitely wasnt a friendly exchange. they yell at each other. but because of their personalities, they become friends
