April ACT: What did you think?

michelle> thanks. however, i'm not really sure if the question was based around a sentence. i think it was more like: which of the following made the piano better over the harpsichord (or something like that. )

hmm also for the science question there was a question with the chromosome passage. something about only found in males/females?
i think it was one of the last ones. i had absolutely no idea... i guessed.

anyone have any idea on what the curve will be? The curves in real act book are really harsh... hopefully this act will be better.

michelle- it said in the passage that the movie was Ola's idea

xiadane- you had to find the gene on the Y chromosome, which only males have

yes.. i think i guessed C on that one XD

i dont remember what i put anymore. everythings kinda leaving me.

for the piano one, the answer was definitely solo performance because it said something about the harpsichord being confined to a full orchestra and then it talked about beethoven and mozart doing solo performances.

It wasn't the narrator's idea. It said in the passage that it was Ola's idea.

what was the reading one about what happened in germany the options were like the guy had his breakthrough and then like advancement of the paino cant really remember

i put advancement of the piano that had originated in italy

hey vsheng do u know if the psae ACT is accepted at all colleges?

yup, cuz it includes writing

The reason that the bluefin swam rigidly was the fact that the muscles were located near the spine or whatever, correct? I didn't think it was related to the skin.

yeah i had some problems with that one,
i think it was something to do with the muscles/blood vessels or watvr

Yeah, I said that its red muscles or whatever were located near the spine.

what were the choices for that one?

how come i never had a gene chromosome passage?

spazattack: i think it had one about constricting movement. i cant remember the others because i was stuck between the muscle and the movement answers.

eeeeric- are you sure you didn't? it was in the science portion...

...The very first passage, with all the pictures of chromosome strands.

I remember one of the other options (its skin was too tight for it to move properly) but not the rest.. Sorry
