hmm, I've heard that you can accept a wait-list spot even after being enrolled at a different school...so, it would have to be long after May 1st...I've heard cases of students finding out as late as August that they would be offered a spot at "X" college if they would attend

back to what someone was saying earlier...there was once a kid who got a letter from his college in the small envelope. Apparently he had an obesity problem, and when he saw the small envelope he had a heart attack. They rushed him off to the hospital and he actually survived - at which points his parents opened the letter, saying that he'd been accepted and that all other materials would be sent in a subsequent mailing. so don't fret if the envelope is little! and especially, no heart attacks lol

oh man- a heart attack at 17-18...thats horrible :(

I know someone whose top choice was Columbia. She got into college "m" and decided to go there. She didn't tell anyone where else she got into, even though she also got into princeton, for example. Then, in the middle of the summer, she changed her mind and decided to go to Columbia Now, why wouldn't use choose inthe first place to go your top choice college if you got in? Which makes me think that she was waitlisted at Columbia and then got a letter in the summer saying that she can get in from the waitlist. So I guess these waitlist things occur pretty late, much after May 1.

I love Hamlet! anyway...yeah...i'm waiting until april 1st...ugh.

Polonius is one of the most amusing characters i've encountered.

I'm having all these thoughts like "Oh i have this and this planned for april 10, OMG i'm going to know by then!!"

you make it sound like a life or death decision

who me? no way
I'm not even thinking about it THAT much nowadays. It's just that cc tends to bring out that desperate urgency in me...

My prom is April 2nd. I am just so nervous now for college that Prom details are unimportant.

lol good timing >.<
Thankfully I will be on spring break when I find out from most of my schools so if I have a heart attack I won't be missing anything. No I'm kidding >.< but it's nice to not have your classmates add to the stress and to have a few days to recover.

hah, prom, that is the least of my worries now, I am jsut so stressed out, I'm starting to feel nauseous whenever I think about college admissions

our prom is a week before decisions time, so I'll concentrate on enjoying myself and then get back to biting my nails :)

is it true that at proms in india the girls always wear red? i was watching main hoon na and my friend said that all the girls wear red dresses.

no thats rubbish. we wear whatever color we want (obviously not everyone's tastes run to fire engine red and even if they do, we may not look good in them ;))
