April Fools Day

Does anybody else think that it is slightly ironic that some of the college notification dates are April 1st. What if one of their letters went

"We are delighted to inform you that you have been accepted to the class of 2009.... just kidding, April Fool's, look for another college because you sure aren't getting into here."

that would really, really hurt

it'll be against their policies...but imagine if one of us were to impersonate the colleges and send such mail...

that would be criminal

not to mention costly...37 cents for 20K people? It adds up.

you dont have to send it to all 20k

just to ccers

hmmm yeah thats actually quite an interesting idea...some people here do take life rather seriously :D

lol, if accepted to HYPS I'll have a party at my house for any ccers wanting to come

semiptern555: cool, where do you live? or is this like a pre-April fools thing? haha

april 1 is my birthday............image me being rejected by all colleges right on my birthday!!

that would suck

btw I live in socal, believe me, you'll hear from me if I get in, I'll scream with such ferocity to cause sound waves to be felt in San Francisco.

can you generate a wave with enough intensity to reach Asia? SO I can ride on it too...:D

It would totally suck because April Fool's Day is my 18th the birthday. I am really not looking forward t ogetting rejected on my birthday.

i bet rejection sucks on any day

yeah, to mail that to all 20,000 it would cost $7,400! lol

I got deferred on my 18th birthday :p

:( :( :(.........

oh and I'll get rejected on my mom's birthday if decisions come a little early (ie AMrch 30 :p)

i agree. rejection sucks in anyday
